ABOUT ME
Here's the intro I'm supposed to write: Portrait photography is my passion & smiling is my favorite. I'm being serious! Pictures capture memories & those are priceless treasures. Okay, Okay. I am super sentimental & love seeing people happy & smiling. That's pretty much it. I like to have fun & spread the fun & capture all the smiles & the love in my camera.
HERE - IS THE REAL STORY. I am "that" goof ball mom, that picked up the camera & started taking friend's photos because let's face it, picture sessions are expensive. I loved it & they loved it! I began to invest our money in furthering my education in all thing's photography. My husband & I created a business, so I wasn't stepping on any toes legally. That was back in 2020. Blush & Maple is a veteran owned business that wants to be able to provide quality photos to everyone. Every American should have affordable & high-quality photos displayed in their home. Being in the industry now for 4 years I understand why photographers are so expensive. The gear is massively expensive. The computers, hard drives, editing software & further education is massively expensive. The time sitting in front of a laptop & editing your pictures is a major investment of their time. Honestly, I think photographers should be shown a little more grace- they have the talent & the knowledge & I for one am inspired by all the talent around here. ANYWAY - I quit my soul sucking corporate job that I had for 18 years in 2024 & started running our business full time. I am very blessed my husband's full-time job has allowed me to do that. POINT is, we have been there- going without things so we can have the things we have now & professional pictures was one of the things we went without & it so badly ached my heart. So we get it. We really do. My goal with our business is to offer as much I can at attainable rates for everyone in our community. Starting with our Veterans, first responders & single parent families. I will have many sales & create many opportunities for discounted sessions throughout the year. THAT'S IT!... I would also like to add in my closing about me section that besides photography, I love burritos, my family & Jesus. God Bless America!
